Department Information
The Department of Basic Education is a dynamic and progressive academic unit that aims to train qualified teachers at the early childhood and primary school levels. The primary objectives of the department include acquiring fundamental skills in education, strengthening child development, and pedagogical formation.
The department has two active departments:
1. Department of Early Childhood Education
2. Department of Classroom Education
Our faculty members are academics who are experts in their fields. The department employs a total of 14 faculty members (5 professors, 3 associate professors, 2 assistant professors, and 4 research assistants).
Both departments actively accept undergraduate students. Additionally, the Preschool Education master's program offers opportunities for students pursuing academic careers.
The Department of Basic Education stands out with its student-centered teaching approach, the use of current educational technologies, and practice-oriented course content. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience as they prepare for the teaching profession, and are strongly prepared for the field through various school experience and internship programs.
